Kevin Talley (00:19)
Hey y'all, welcome to the Treasure Vault Podcast. It's me, Kevin, and know, here we try to combine business and ministry to up-bluff entrepreneurs trying to glorify the kingdom. And you know, we want to make sure that we're following God in all his ways, making sure that we avoid things that could damage our walk with Christ, damage our business, damage our ability to reach out and network with people. Yeah, just.

We've got to make sure that we align our lives with him. And the best way to do that is just keeping the faith all the way to the end. This video is more like a, it's not to scare you, it's more of a, just a reassurance, a warning that there is a way to lose your salvation, but it's not as easy as you think it is. It's actually something very difficult to do when you're really rooting in Christ.

What I know over time is that God is a very gracious God. He's a very loving, understanding God. He's also a just God. He's also a God with standards. you can't accept one without the other. But thanks be to God that he's so merciful that he gives us the knowledge to avoid losing our salvation. He gives us the knowledge to avoid, you know,

crashing and burning, so to speak. He warns us in multiple verses on just choosing to stay with him despite what the world's throwing at you. yeah, just making sure that, just make sure that the way you're living is not contrary to how he wants us to live. And I'm just gonna cover two ways to lose your salvation.

And again, like I said, it's going to be God's going to make sure that he's going to warn you not to go down these routes. But let's just let's just cover the first. There's two ways to lose salvation. One is to deny God in front of people your whole life. And the other one is to accept the mark of the beast. ⁓ The first one. This this one is more so. It's more so of a.

It's it's rooted in like cowardice is rooted in like you're not living the way you say you would. You're not you're not trying to you're not trying to stand up for what you believe in. It's like you're living a lie. You're living you're living in a way that's contrary to you know, to that own self be true to that. That was to that own self be true. Like how are going to say things?

⁓ Say you're one way to people and then you know It's just not who you are. Like it really comes off really really inauthentic and you why would you want to live with yourself that way you want to live with yourself You to have this comfort knowing that okay, no matter what's going on I do know who I am who I belong to you belong to Christ when you said Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you belong to him you're protected by him your you're provided for by him and

But when you constantly deny him in front of people, it's not gonna... It's like, you really value, do you really believe who he says he is and what he can do? Let's go to Matthew 10, 32 to 33. And this is Jesus talking, he says, whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father, which is God in heaven.

But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. This is Jesus basically saying like, okay, you know I'm the Christ, you know I'm God, you know I have the ability to save. Why would you deny that in front of people? It's like the whole purpose, know, the Christian walk, once you get saved, you should want to go and make disciples, right? You should want to share the good news. You should want to share how

You know, God has saved you from things, how he's healed you from things, how he's gotten you through situations. How can you keep that to yourself? It's like somebody asks you, do you know Christ? And you say, no. It's like, well, dang, like, do you really? It's something in you should promote, should, you know, invoke you to share this good news. Like, why would you keep something that precious to yourself? Like it doesn't, it doesn't add up. It's, you know, they say faith without works is dead. And how can you,

First, we're only saved because of salvation. We can't work to earn our salvation. But when it says, faith without works is dead, what it's saying is, how can you have something so grandiose, so beautiful and so helpful and something to align your whole life with? How can you keep that to yourself if it was that important to you? There's no way you can have knowledge of Christ and have a real revelation of who he is and just not even claim him.

It's a red flag. There's no way. There's just no way you can. You know, the way you can be true to yourself when you say, I don't like you do whatever you want to do. But behind the scenes, I'm a prey, you know, I'm a, you know, live for God behind the scenes. But in public, I'm just going, you know, play it safe and not going to ruffle any feathers. I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. No, it's like there should be something in you. People can tell like, ⁓ that person's different.

That person belongs to, mean that person believes in something. Your life should reflect your beliefs. Your life should reflect, you know, the God that's placed inside of you. You know, the Holy Spirit is inside of us. Our bodies are a temple for him. So it's like, yeah, for you to just straight up say, no, no, no, I don't, I don't know Christ or I don't belong to him. And then you stand before God at the end of the day and be like, yeah, God, was praying for, I was praying for you. I mean, I was praying.

in your name, was doing all these things. Yeah, you know me, you saw me, right? And he's like, no, I never knew you, depart from me, because my whole purpose of the good news was to share it. The disciples, what would the disciples be if they weren't sharing the gospel? What's the point of them existing if people come around them and they don't know about Christ? How can you go your whole life on earth and nobody knows the good news through you?

and you expect to just enter the kingdom, like how's that gonna work? Like come on, it has to be some type of representation. At least if you can't share it to one person, like if you kind of like a quiet, reserved person and you share the gospel to one person, it shows fruit inside of you. It's like, okay, you're not gonna deny Christ in front of people. It makes, like it makes, I'm gonna stop saying like I'm sorry.

It just shows that, it shows you represent what you believe in. And you know how Peter denied Jesus three times when the Romans came, when Jesus was being sent off to be persecuted, he was standing on trial, right? You know, the girl saw him and was like, hey, this guy, I know this guy. And Peter was like, no, I don't know Christ. I don't know anything about him.

And Jesus said that would happen. And Peter, you know, he just felt guilty. He started weeping. like...

He felt bad and people would think that, Peter denied Christ three times. Clearly, he's not going to enter the kingdom of heaven, but Peter later repented. And that's the thing, is very gracious. He gives you time to get it right. And when you go to...

We can go to John 21, verses 15 through 19. says, Jesus spent a time with Simon Peter. It says, they finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? Yes, Lord, he said, you know that I love you. Jesus said, feed my lambs. Again, Jesus said, Simon, son of John, do you love me? He answered, yes, Lord, you know that I love you. Jesus said, take care of my sheep.

The third time he said to him, Simon son of John, do you love me? Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, do you love me? He said, Lord, you know all things, you know that I love you. Jesus said, feed my sheep. Very truly I tell you, when you were younger, you dressed yourself and went where you wanted. But when you are old, you would stretch out your hands and someone else would dress you and lead you where you do not want to go. Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God.

Then he said to him, follow me. As you can see, it's like when Peter, Peter first denied Christ three times, he was in fear. He did not want to get persecuted with Jesus. He, you he ran away, but later on he really did try to.

He really did try to like, it's funny how Jesus did it. He asked him three times, do you love me? It's kind like a redemption art. First Peter denies Christ, but now he's accepting Christ three times. Like, yeah, I love you. Jesus saw that, and he saw that repentant heart in Peter. And that's an aspect of Christ. God has that grace where he's like, okay, you messed up here, but I'm gonna bring you back.

and let you get a chance to redeem yourself, but only in Christ Jesus. You have to believe in Christ. You can't just do it yourself. have to accept Christ. You have to believe it and confess it with your heart. And it's just poetic that after he rejected Christ three times, he accepted Christ three times saying that, yeah, I love you. So I would like to think that Jesus did that on purpose just to remind him like, hey, there's still grace for you.

You can you don't have to live with the guilt of what you did in the past because I'm gonna forgive that and I'm gonna See your love for me and I'm gonna let you operate in my love instead of my condemnation So that you know Jesus he was the one he redeems us for all of our mistakes He cleanses us of unrighteousness. He I Mean he's really our reason for live our reason for living So, know that that's the aspect of grace

And when you don't accept that grace and you keep denying Christ in front of people, then now your salvation is not valid because you're very, you're very, you know, you're fake. Let's just say you're fake. You're not living like you say you are and you don't love God, because how can you love somebody and not even acknowledge them? That's kind of foul, very foul actually.

So at least Peter had a chance to live under grace, but there's one thing that you can do where you just throw grace to the window. There is no coming back from this. This is one sin. This is one thing you commit where you basically saying, God, I don't need you. You're saying that God is wrong. You're saying that God can't save you. And that's, that's the one thing that you can't come back from.

no matter what and that's the mark of the beast. you accept the mark of the beast which is triple six, your life is over. Like that, you can't come back from that. And let me go to...

Let me go down to, oh yeah, Revelation 13. And this is Revelation 13, 16 through 18. this is talking about the beast. says, it also forced all people great and small, rich and poor, free and slave to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast for it is the number of a man. That number is 6x6.

I know people reading this, they're like, well, wait, we can't buy and sell things. We're going to be tortured. Like what's going to happen? Like we're afraid. Like we have to accept this mark or we're going to, you know, we're going to die. Like, no, God is saying it's going to be very clear what that mark represents when that time comes. It's not going to be a, ⁓ I need a cube. I need this.

this key card, it's not gonna be like a debit card, you can just swipe it to the grocery store and, know, oh, we don't do cash anymore, we're gonna use this card, but it's not just gonna be something like that. When you do that, you don't have to confess that Jesus Christ is not God. You don't have to say that. When this market of beasts is distributed, when you accept that you're gonna have to deny Christ, there's not gonna be.

a caveat, it's not gonna be a loophole. You're gonna have to, it's gonna be night and day. Either you with Jesus or you with the beast. There's no in-between. Their only way to accept that mark is to say, you know, Jesus is not the son of God. You have to blaspheme God in order to get that mark. sorry, it was an email, popped up.

There's, this is going to revelation. Thanks be to God that, you know, he knows how serious this is, right? He's not just going, you can't accidentally, oh, that's the point I was going to make. You can't accidentally accept the triple six mark. It's not going to be, it's not going to be something you slipped up on. That's why people were talking about, you when that was getting distributed, they'll tell me, oh, that's the market to be. No, no, it's not going to be secret, y'all. It's not going to be.

It's not going to be slid in. It's not going to be snuck into anything. It's going to be blatant. It's like you have to deny Christ to accept the mark of the beast. And God's going to warn us. He's going to give a fair warning before we accept it. I'm not going to say, oh, please, I'm not accepting that. Well, he's going to give a fair warning before this thing is distributed. Let's go to Revelation before that. Let's go to Revelation 13, which is nine to twelve. This is in the same chapter.

It says, a third angel, this is angel from God. A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice, if anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they too will drink the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image.

or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus. So as you can see, two things. One, it's gonna be very clear what the mark represents. It's gonna be eternal separation from God. It's gonna be in alignment with the devil. It's not gonna be ambiguous, y'all. And two, the angel that's warning us of that, he's also saying, look.

If you endure to the end, you will be saved. God's not gonna leave us hanging. know, God is a provider. Even when we can't buy or sell, we're still gonna have food and other means of survival. Because God is a provider. He's not gonna leave his children hanging, right? That's the good news. Even when this evil is going on and when the beast tries to take over the world and he tries to intimidate God's children into worshiping him, God's giving us a way out.

He's still giving us ⁓ way to live for Him even when this is going on. He warns us not to accept it. So we're not going to have an excuse. You can't accidentally accept the mark of the beast and not know what it represents. You're going to know. So there's not going be any grace for that. There's not going to be any second chances after you accept that mark. have to say no to it. Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. He's the only way to the Father. And that mark is saying,

that that's not true. You don't want to accept that Mark. You have to align yourself with Jesus Christ knowing that this is the only way to heaven and you deny the beast. The beast is a carnal thing. The devil comes up with it. He got all these legions of demons. He got all this crap he's doing right and he still can't overcome God. He's still not as strong as God. So it's laughable if it wasn't so sad.

Like how he thinks he can just go and rebel against God. He's not going to accomplish anything. Yeah, we had the victory in Christ Jesus. God cares for us even when it doesn't matter what the government is doing. It doesn't matter what people around you are doing. You know, Psalms 91, you see only only with your eyes. We see the result of the wicked, you know, the reward of the wicked. You know, people die. People die next to you, whatever. You're going to be protected in Christ Jesus, right? You're going to be.

provided for and let me go to.

One second. And. Oh, yeah. And we'll go to Matthew Rue Crick. So this is Matthew six, 26 to 34. This is saying how God provides for us. Even when we we don't even we don't understand how much he's doing, even when we're not paying attention. No, he takes care of birds. He can design a flower in a way that is so precious. Yeah, it can be. Like he puts all the detail into a flower that can be.

ripped out the ground and tossed away. How much more do think he cares for us? He puts all his detail into the earth. We are made in his image, right? Us humans. He's going to take care of us. There's so much care he took into making us. There's so much love and just admiration he has for us that he's not going to just let us casually walk into destruction. one, no one that the devil only intends to steal, kill and destroy.

He's saying don't don't set that market of beasts. I got you. Look at Matthew. This is Matthew 6 26 to 34. He says Look at the birds of the air for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns yet Your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? Like like I said, which how is worrying about what we're gonna eat and what we're gonna buy

that why we're gonna worry about that and set the mark in the beast when God already said, no, I'm gonna take care of you, bump that mark. Don't accept it, I got you. That's what God is saying. So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field and how they grow. They need to toil nor spin. Yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. You know, Solomon was the richest man in the Bible. He had all the wealth, so you only imagine.

the high quality of clothing he had, like even in all his glory, he was not arrayed with the intricate details that our flowers made, that God can make, you know? And continuing, says, now if God so closed the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith?

Therefore do not worry, saying, shall we eat or what shall we drink? Here we go. Or what shall we wear? For after all these things the Gentiles seek, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow. For tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Will you know that in your heart that God is your provider?

your protector, give you the food to eat, the clothing to wear. You have zero reason to accept the mark of the beast. That mark of the beast is a guaranteed forfeit of salvation. However, there's a much stronger force that overcomes that stupid mark, is God provision. God knows his children, God knows what we need. We seek him first.

He's gonna give us all everything we need. We won't need to accept what the beast is offering. It's gonna be so foul. First of all, let me be careful what I say, because I'm not trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but we got fake food being fed to us. You really gonna accept the market to be so you can keep eating fake food? Like, nah. Just an example, what are you really afraid of losing?

This world is falling apart in a lot of areas. You're afraid of losing that. It's going to be so temporary. I guarantee you after that market distributed, it won't be long before God's return, know, Christ's return and we're all saved, you know. So just look at it for what it is, y'all. It's counterfeit glory. That's all Satan knows how to do. All he knows how to do is imitate God. He does it so piss poorly. It's not even

It's not even remotely like God. He tries so hard to get glory for himself that he's gonna distribute this mark of the beast thinking that his allegiance to him is stronger than our faith in God. No, it's all like cloud chasing for him. It's all a power trip for him. He wants to be worshiped and he's still gonna lose. He's gonna try to get all these humans to worship him.

Even with that army, it's not enough to go against God because God's gonna... He's like, no. Enter into the lake of fire, you're done. Like you're nobody.

Even though, you know, a video like this, you're saying, I have forfeit and salvation. It's, you know, it's a hard pill to swallow. It's, it's, ⁓ it sounds really frightening, but we shouldn't be frightened when we're God's children. We, we have so much covering and protection in him that when this goes down, we'll we'll be more concerned about telling people not to accept it more so than fearing it being distributed in the first place.

Like our salvation is going to be secure. We're going to have boldness. We're going to have confidence and faith to live for God, even when all this evil is being showcased. So I don't make this video to scare you. I just make this video to let you know what to first to warn you not to go down these routes that can lead you to your salvation being forfeit it, but also comfort you in knowing that God's got you. Does that make sense?

This is good news. Good news is that despite whatever evil the devil plans or is continuing to do, we are covered in Christ Jesus. We had the victory. We are more than conquerors, not a conqueror. You know, a conqueror, he takes over a nation and, you know, he puts up his flag like he is. He can't be stopped. We're more than that. We're more than a conqueror. Like we literally we're not even in the fight.

We're resisting the devil. The guy's going to step on the devil's head. We get authority to trample over scorpions and snakes. Guy's going to step on the devil's head. We just got to be focused on living for Christ Jesus and we had the victory. So this is good news. This is a comforting word. Just.

Yeah, y'all just just be vigilant in these times. You're gonna see a lot of wickedness transpire and I don't want you to get disheartened. I don't want you to give up. I don't want you to lose what you know about Christ. Because all the devil can do is steal your knowledge. He tried to steal your knowledge. When you know who you are in Christ, he can't touch you like, dang, I can't get this guy to, he can't possess this guy. I gotta do something. When you know who Christ is, you don't.

I said, like, y'all, had the victory, so please, just walk in comfort in knowing that we can't be stopped and just make sure to not deny Christ. When somebody asks you, like, who you serve, and just be confident. Like, I serve God, I serve Christ Jesus. And also avoid the mark of the beast, because there will be no reason to accept that you have everything you need already in Christ Jesus. He's a provider, He's not gonna leave you hanging, He's not gonna forsake you, so.

⁓ yeah Be be living comfort in christ jesus and going about your life so yeah, I would That's all I got for today and I yeah, I pray that I pray that y'all ⁓ you know take this to heart and just Let it be encouraging not so much as fear inducing and I mean if you live in recklessly you might it might promote provoke a little bit of fear, but let that fear

Allowing you to accept in Christ Jesus. Don't let it discourage you. Let it be. snap. Let me get my life right. Get your life in order. So yeah, let's just say a quick prayer real quick. We'll be out of here. ⁓

Dear heavenly gracious Father, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, we know that wickedness is gonna transpire in this world. Father, I pray that we have the confidence and the boldness and the comfort in you, knowing that it's not gonna destroy us. We have eternal life in Christ Jesus. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus, and I pray that we walk in that.

I pray that we resist temptation from the devil, the lies he's trying to spew to us about you. None of it's true. The only truth that we have is Jesus is the only way to the Father. And we live in that. I pray we strive in that. pray we take our rightful position as your children, heirs to the kingdom of Christ. In Jesus' name, let us keep our salvation and remain joyful in you. In Jesus' name, thank you, amen.

Alright y'all, that's it. ⁓ like I said, just be encouraged. You know the truth. You stay in that truth and you have nothing to lose. And warn your neighbor as well. Alright, see y'all. This is Kevin Talley, Treasure Vault Podcast signing off.
