What's up, Vault Tellers This is your host, Kevin Talley, and I wanted to speak with y'all today on believing what God says over what the world says about you. In order to have a full sense of comfort in one's creation, to have a full sense of self-esteem, to have a full sense of self-worth, you have to make sure to alleviate yourself of...

all negative things that are said against you in lies, said against you in, know, when it's meant to harm you, you have to tune that out. To do that effectively, I believe the best strategy is to marinate, focus on what God says about you over what the world says about you. Like for instance, if the world, I don't know, the world calls you ugly, you believe you're fearfully and wonderfully made because God made you.

based on his liking. If you believe you're not good enough for something, God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called. If he calls you to do it, he can operate through you. yeah, just in a nutshell, don't put what the world says above what the person who created it said. Think about that for a second. The one who created everything.

He clearly has the final say in how you live your life. He has the final say in who you are. His thoughts for you highly outweigh any other thought processes from the enemy, any other thought processes from, I don't know, your colleagues. Like, God has the final say, so. what does he say about us as his children?

Well, we can find that out through his word. The first verse that comes to mind that I believe has the, lot of people know this verse, but you really think about it. It's like God's plans for us, it was ordained before we even thought of, I mean, before creation, God thought of us before creation. Like he had everything planned out. We're not a mistake. Like he had everything planned out and he had plans for our life to prosper despite what.

despite what things look like, despite our past and everything. And the first verse that comes to mind is Jeremiah 29, 11 through 13. And this is God talking, he says, for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Y'all, it's like with that alone, it lets you know that God didn't just make you just to... He wasn't in sandbox mode when he made you. People who play video games, they will know what I mean by sandbox mode. Basically, I'm saying like he just created a bunch of stuff just to just to have fun with it and be like, OK, I'm done with it. Boom. Get rid of it. No, God literally has every ounce of creation with intent. Like it's not a single thing he made that

Then it's not gonna serve a purpose like we were made to glorify him and he wants to take care of his children He wants to prosper us and he says he has plans to prosper you and not to harm you Plans to give you hope and a future. Sorry. I said a hope I meant plans to give you hope period and a future so he's a source of hope he's the source of When we trusted him our future is secure no matter what it looks like right now God can God can maneuver us through life

in different jobs, ⁓ different cities, locations. He can maneuver us through life and still have that guarantee of hope. Our future is locked, our future is sealed with him. We have nothing to fear. So God is that mindful of us that he listen to what he says about our future, not some fortune teller, not some card reader, listen to him because he has to finally say so in everything.

And I would I would put his word, you know, if I wanted to know what my future was, first of all, I shouldn't be too concerned about what it is instead of just focusing on having faith in him. So you don't have to know everything about your future to, you know, have faith in him. Just the next step. OK, God called you to do this. Do this. And. The fruit of it will transpire later on, or it might come immediately, but don't worry about having the whole entire.

image of your future revealed to you just yet, just small bits and pieces so God can, you know, help you operate on faith. And why would you want to be, why would you want the pressure of knowing everything anyway? Cause then you're going to probably mess it up because you're going to get overwhelmed with knowledge that you weren't supposed to have in the first place. But I digress. So let's go to another verse on how God views us. So let's go to Colossians 2, 13 through 14. And it says,

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us. He has taken it away, nailing it to the cross." Basically this verse saying God knew we were going to mess up. He knew that before we were even created. that's why he originally established

He established for Jesus to die on the cross for us since the beginning. wasn't a God didn't call an audible. He literally planned for Jesus Christ to be our savior from the beginning of time. So. You know, he had a he had a ransom for us before we ever before we ever screwed up, before we ever decided not to obey him, he had a ransom for us while we were yet sinners. He died for us. It's like that. God is that mindful of us. You know what he says about us? He God is saying

that you mean so much to me that even before you find a way to get it right, I'm gonna make sure you have a platform, a foundation to get it right with. Like you have, yeah, the manual of the Bible you have, Jesus Christ is ⁓ your sacrifice for salvation. You're gonna have everything you need before you even figure out.

what you really need to do. Like I'm that mindful of you. This is how I created you to rely on me. I'm not even going to create you to be out here by yourself. I'm going to create you to rely on me, your ultimate source of hope, your ultimate source of redemption. Like you never have to worry about being alone with Christ. He planned that from the beginning. Like he's that mindful of us to make sure that we never alone, because he's always with us. The Holy Spirit is inside of us. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

You know, we carry God with us everywhere we go. Like we don't have to worry about, I mean, we can be in a valley somewhere, we can be inside a cave. God still can hear us, He still can see us. Like that's a beautiful thing when no location, no height, no depth can separate us from the love of God. you really just have to understand that, you know, God had a plan for us even before.

You know, he knew he knew we were going to get lost in some capacity like humans are going to mess up. got something for him. Boom. Jesus Christ, you know, he's going to cancel all debt. Like we don't have to pay the price of sin solely because Jesus Christ, his son, just got to sacrifice his son for us. So another verse that showcases how showcases, you know, how mindful God was of us. Excuse me.

It showcases how mindful God is when he created us. Ephesians 2.10, says, for we are God's handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. We don't have to worry about being bored in Christ. God gave us an assignment. It's like, do this. Live for me. Repent of sin. Serve others, love others.

And know, God will reveal to you an assignment. You know, he can reveal it to you in your dreams. He can reveal it to you through one of his prophets. God can speak in multiple ways. Like, you know, your purpose is to live for Christ. know, adopt the fruits of the spirit, treat people right. That's your purpose. Your assignment can be, I don't know, maybe God called you to be an athlete. God called you to be a doctor. God called you...

to be a school teacher. God called you to be a coder or something, like a web designer. called you to ⁓ be a police officer. God can give us different assignments that ultimately is going to accomplish our purpose that he's given us, to glorify him. It's all about him, y'all. Giving God glory is our biggest priority in living for him because

It won't return void. We're not doing that to boost God's ego. We're literally giving him glory because he is good. He can't deny himself. That's a reason why he doesn't want us to miss out on him because his presence alone guarantees that fullness, that joy, that hope. Why would you want to live without that? God wanted to make sure that, you know,

First, he established the fact that we can be saved through grace based on Jesus Christ's sacrifice. And he made sure that we had something to do while we were here on Earth so we don't just lose our minds with idleness and, ⁓ gotta figure out something else to do. I got time on my hands. No, just try every day to focus on loving God, praying, accomplishing His will, and you know.

Everything else will fall in line. Like I said, Jeremiah, sorry, bumped the mic. Like Jeremiah 29, 11, all things work together, you know? So, I mean, sorry, not all things work. For I know the plans I have for you. I'm sorry. That's not the verses. But anywho, let's go to the next one. So by the way, when you read Psalms, there's no S on the end. When you read Psalm, you really see how

beautiful guy really is. You see how adored he should be by us because and you see how much he adores us. Like you see it like through his word. Like he's so mindful of us. Y'all please understand that God didn't just create us just to put us here. Like I said, he's not, didn't, he didn't, he didn't enter sandbox mode on a video game. We just started putting stuff together. No, he, everything had a thought process behind it. So we look at Psalms 139.

⁓ 1-18, says, ⁓ You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down. You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me and too lofty for me to attain. Like I said before, you don't really have to know your whole future. Like just let God worry about that hard stuff. You focus on what he told you to do. The last thing he told you to do. ⁓ continuing, where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? Again, God sees everything. you can't escape. Like once you're his child, he's going to make sure to watch over you. And it says, ⁓

If I go up to the heavens, you are there. If I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me. Your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me. Even the darkness will not be dark to you. The night will shine like the day for darkness is as light to you. Again, y'all, the being who created everything

He can see like there's no darkness that God can't see through. Like I can see my God saying I can see my children even in the dark. Even when you can't see things that darkness, it can be, you know, not knowing where you are in life, not knowing what your next step is. You know, you can be in the dark like that. But God is like, I have the answers. Trust in me. I can see things. I can see your future. I can see people around you who have bad intentions. I can get rid of them.

Trust in me, like I can see you the dark. I can see you in the dark. You're not too far, you're never too far from me. Call my name and I'll come to you in Jesus Christ. oh yeah, even the darkness will not be dark to you. The night will shine like the day for darkness is as light to you. For you created my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you. When I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God? How vast is the sum of them?

Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. Y'all know how insane that is? In a good way. God has more thoughts towards us than the amount of grains of sand. Picture a desert. You know deserts full with sand. The Sahara desert is bigger than some countries. That is...

God has more thoughts towards us than the amount of grains of sand in the desert. That's insane. Our minds can't comprehend the level of love God has for us, the level of mercy and grace and admiration of his creation. So much so, like I said, he loves us so much that he died on the cross in the most brutal death possible to make sure that we experienced his goodness, because he did not want us to miss out. Before we even made it in our mother's womb, before...

Before, you know, before we were in embryo, he makes sure that he had he fitted us together. He knitted us together. He had a design for us. Like every everything concerning our life was planned out by guy himself. He wanted us to be his children. He wanted to adopt us through his sonship. We said Jesus Christ, we are officially his sons and daughters in Christ Jesus.

He had that plan from the beginning before we before he even made us in our mother's womb. He did that. And it actually gives you so much comfort. It's like I'm not here by mistake. I wasn't I'm not forgotten about my creator. My creator is so mindful of me that if you were to collect all the sand in the desert, it still wouldn't be more than what he thinks of me. Let's go on. Let's go to Luke. Luke 12, 6 through 7.

And it says, ⁓ this is showing how much we're worth to God. We're already worth dying for, but let's compare it to money purchasing. Let's compare ourselves to that. So in Luke 12, six through seven, are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet none of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.

This right here is telling me that, now I'm not sure how much a penny was worth back then. ⁓ Bible times. We're living in Bible times, but the, you know, the old times that are referenced in the Bible is saying like, you know, it doesn't matter how much these birds are worth. It can be they can be worth, you know, think about our pennies. No, once said it's not it's not worth anything, hardly.

Those same birds that are purchased for one cent still God cares about them that much So imagine how much more he cares about us, He cares about us so much our design is so perfect to him are not the numbers of hairs The number of hairs on our head are numbered by him That's thousands y'all like when you when you cut your hair when you grow it He knows the exact number of hairs on your head. That's how mindful he is of us. He does not

His thoughts for us are so vast like he doesn't he doesn't run out of thoughts concerning us like he he loves us that much and We should we should You know the whole phrase of know your worth you definitely feel it with this like you feel like man like What you want me like that feeling of being wanted, you know, we searched for in marriage We searched for it with a boyfriend and girlfriend. We searched for with you know our coach

our coach and our sport giving us our props. You know, want to be wanted by something. You want affirmation by something. None of what the world can offer can compare to God's affirmation of us. ⁓ Nothing can compare to the number of thoughts he has toward us. Nothing can compare to the level of concern he has for us. we just, minds, our human minds can't fathom the amount of love God has for us.

And again, we can continue. This is going to Ephesians 1, 3 through 14. So it says, Praise be to the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Excuse me.

In love, He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ in accordance with His pleasure and will, to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the one He loves. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us.

With all wisdom and understanding, He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reached their fulfillment, to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be

for the praise of his glory. And you were also included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession to the praise of his glory. Y'all, there's so much to unpack in that passage. First, it's saying, like I said before,

God had already planned for us to be successful before he even created us. ⁓ He planned to adopt us as his family. God is not just our Lord, he's our savior and he's our father. He's our protector, he's our family member, he's our friend, he's our creator. All that stuff wrapped into one.

God, you should just have that comfort of knowing that this, the creator of all things is so mindful of you that he hasn't, there's seven billion humans. think, did we cross seven billion yet? I know we crossed six billion. I think there's seven billion humans on Earth right now. The ones that believe in Jesus Christ, know, he wanted everybody to believe, but there's gonna be people who reject him, unfortunately. He still planned for everybody to be

Saved like it's not in God's will that he would purposely create somebody just to be cast away He wanted us to be saved He offered that to Jesus Christ. He planned that from the very beginning. All we got to do is say yes to him It's free y'all just accept them and live for him. We were predestined according to the plan You know his plan to work out everything and conformity to his will Like y'all like he has

He had it all figured out from the get-go. you just now getting saved at 45 versus 21, it doesn't matter. The plan for your life is all coming to fruition in the right way when you just decide to give it all to Him. unfortunately, for the people who don't accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, God will use them.

for his glory, but they will not inherit the kingdom of God. They will, no, they will be cast in the outer darkness. the destiny is hell. Like you have to understand that God meant for every human to be saved. Like he did not want people to reject him, but unfortunately people will reject him. And even though he knew that would happen, he still died for them. He's still like, I'm gonna give you the chance, but please.

Like just, y'all just accept Him. Like he has, he predestined good works for us. Why would you reject that? Just understand why, you know, we don't have to have it all figured out. We just have to know that the one who created Mount Kilimanjaro, as big as these landforms are, the forest, every animal, he was that mindful towards us that we were more important than that, you know? And just accept them.

Don't forsake this opportunity to live for the most powerful being in existence. El Shaddai. Elohim, you know, he's our father. Like the most powerful being in the world, in all existence is your father. You can't lose with that. He has good intentions for us. All we gotta do is trust him.

So much time packed, but let's go to Matthew 6 25 to 34 and it's saying Therefore I tell you do not worry about your life what you would eat or drink or about your body what you will wear It's not life more than food and the body more than clothes Look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or store away in barns and yet your heavenly father feeds them Are you not much more valuable than they?

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith? So do not worry saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear?

For the pagan is running after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble on its own.

Y'all like, just like I said, the creator who created the mountains, nature, think about how vast and beautiful nature is, from, it's something small, it's molecules all the way up to the size of a mountain. there's, God created all of that. Even the flowers, like I said, even the flowers in the field.

You just see the design of them. It's like no creature can create that. It's perfectly designed to just have this beautiful look to them. And you can just pick up flowers and toss them to the fire. Like, okay, another flower will grow. God spent that much time designing something so disposable.

How much more do you think he cares about you? Like how much more do you think he cares about a human that he decides to reside in the Holy Spirit? He decides to reside in your body as his temple. You don't think he's gonna take care of you? Like he took care of those flowers that get eliminated just like that. How much more you think he's gonna take care of humans that are made in his image? And it says, know, pagans run after...

Pagans worry about things. They worry about where they're gonna sleep. They worry about what they're gonna eat and drink because they, more than likely pagans worship money. They worship the, they worship, you know, they worship living the way the world wants them to live. Always obsessed with, I gotta make sure I have this. I gotta make sure I impress somebody. I gotta make sure.

Nobody catches me lacking. I gotta make sure I'm flexing for the gram. This is what they do. This is what the pagans do. We don't have to worry, as God's children, we don't have to worry about that. Matter of fact, the word worry doesn't apply to us as Christians because when you worry, you have to have a lack of faith to worry. You're basically eliminating God's

Necessity in your situation when you worry. It's like, no guys not gonna take care of this. I gotta do something When we have faith in God is our provider Jehovah-Jahra, this is my t-shirt the Jehovah Jehovah-Jahra He provides for us when we have faith in him to do that We ain't got worried about what we're gonna wear what we're gonna where we're gonna sleep like he's gonna give us housing he's gonna give us the provision to get it

He's going to make sure we're well fed. He's going to make sure we. Yeah, we have nothing to fear. Our creator died for us. Our creator thinks of us 24 seven. Like when we sleep, he's thinking about us. We're so beloved by him. Like even when we mess up and sin, he discipline, he disciplines us not to condemn us, but to get us on the right path. Like that's how much he cares about us. Even when we mess up, he's going to get us right back to where we're supposed to be and still make sure we're well fed like that.

Y'all we gotta learn. know people, people out there facing evictions. People are, you know, they got family drama and stuff like that. But I guarantee you when you give it all up to Christ Jesus, we dedicate your life to God. way he orchestrates things, you know, you, you can pray for people in inter intercessory prayer. You can activate God in their life. So much power that he can handle things in ways that you can't.

Yeah, we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. We wrestle against principalities and, you know, the evil forces of the world. We don't wrestle against people. when you done all you can, like I said, we like that song says, when you done all you can, all you can do is stand. Basically, you don't you have to you don't have to think you don't have to think that you have to do it all on your own.

All you gotta do is do what you can and let God take care of the rest because he can see people's hearts. He can see what they're dealing with that you can't. He can correct them in ways that you can't. Like you can yell and scream and do all that, but God gonna correct them in a way where they can understand they can, they gonna have peace and they're gonna repent. And you know, he can also get them out of your way. can, God can remove your enemies. He can, he can send your enemies scattered in seven, eight.

10 different directions. I forgot how many it says in the Bible, ⁓ yeah, just man, got y'all. God cares for you. Just have faith in knowing that I know. know life gets hard. Trust me. I've been there. I've been through a lot of situations, but you know, God kept me through all of them. Glory be to him. Like he won't forsake you. Y'all. I don't care how long it takes. Think about the end game is eternal life.

The end game is just eternal rest and peace and joy with the father that we win in the end. So when you worried about what's going on today, don't be worried about what today's like today has enough trouble. I mean, don't worry about tomorrow because today has enough trouble on its own, but you can still rely on God to fix the issues of today and you could just keep going forward. You know, we don't have anything to worry about. All we need to do

is maximize our faith. You know, we're going to get tested. We're going to go through trials. We're going to face hardships. But fear not, because God has already overcome the world. He created it, first of all, and Satan trying to mess things up. But he can't because he hasn't. has no power over you. He has no power over God's children. Like Satan has to flee. Y'all know that, right? It says resist the devil. He will flee from you. It doesn't say resist the devil. And he just going to.

He's going to sit there and not move. got ⁓ the devil has to run away. You don't run away from something not scared of right? That was that was deathly terrified of God. He's going to run away from him when he sees that you're not trying to sin. He sees that you're resisting him. He has to run. That's spiritual law. So, yeah, don't worry about the attacks that are coming your way. God already got you covered full number. So.

This is last verse I want to read. 1 Samuel 16, 7, it says, But the Lord said to Samuel, Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. In this situation, Samuel was picking somebody and he's looking at the appearance of a person.

Like I believe this person to be a good fit for what God's purpose is or he's a good fit for this mission based on what I see. ⁓ he's tall. He's capable. Yada, yada, yada. But when God calls you to something, this is why you need to really embrace how God made you, because he's not concerned with your looks. He's not concerned with. He's not concerned with your limitations that the world has placed on you. God has the final say so so.

when he calls you to do something, he's already going to equip you. He equipped you since before you were made, before you even conceived in your mother's stomach. Like you were already destined to win. before you were conceived in your mother's womb, you were destined to win. It doesn't matter what you look like to the world.

God sees the potential in you and I can operate through you. I'm the one operating through you anyway. Why would you need to fear what the world is going to do when I can see your enemy scattering in multiple directions? I can send, I can stop attacks just like that. The devil runs away from me. I'm Elohim, El Shaddai. The devil has to run away when I show up because I had the final victory. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. That's spiritual law.

There's a conqueror and then there's more than a conqueror. A conqueror already stepping on Satan's neck. You already have authority to trample over scorpions and snakes. When you're more than a conqueror, it's like, when you're more than a conqueror, you literally, you're not even fighting at that point. You're just, you got God right there. Like God is the one, like fighting for you. You just speak his word to the situation. You live for God and you try and live holy. You speak his word to the situation.

The devil got to got to punk up. He got to punk out like he is not. He's not equipped to fight the Lord. He's not. So you should never feel bad. You should never feel intimidated by anything the world throws at you because God has the final say. So he has God has the final say. So in. Qualifying you, he has the final say. So your purpose, he has the final say. So in your looks, he has the final say. So and just. You know.

the world's need for you. Like he has to final say so he's going to he's going to direct you in a path that he has for you. And like he's not he's going to make sure that that path is provided for is protected and it ain't you're guided through it. He's not going to leave you hanging. So imagine y'all just when you grasp the when you grasp the true, excuse me, when you grasp the true nature of God's love, our human minds can't conceive.

can't comprehend how much he loves us. We just gotta embrace it. We just have to accept the fact that God's love for us vastly overcomes anything the world tries to put on us.

He's your qualifier. Let the creation of all things give you your, give you your approval. That's all you need to focus on. And when you have your own family, make sure your, make sure your spouse understands that. Make sure your children understand that. Like anybody who comes in contact with you, let them know that the light that is seeing you, cause you guys can put you in situations where you're seeing like he wants to make sure that his children are like a shining city on the hill, you know.

So when people come to you, make sure they know that the God in you can't be stopped and you can't be stopped because you're his child and you want them to experience that same benefits that you want them to experience those same benefits that the world can't give them. So, ⁓ yeah, that's all I had to say about that. Just fall in love with Christ. Seek him daily, seek him.
